Born in Fukui Prefecture in 1985. After graduating from a technical college with a degree in architecture, he gained experience in lumber processing and manufacturing, and in 2017, he became independent in Saitama Prefecture, making custom-made furniture. In 2021, he began creating works using a wood lathe, establishing a style of carving bowls and vases from logs, primarily using domestic wood salvaged as scrap material. In addition to everyday tableware, he also creates many object pieces with the theme of spatial decoration, launching the brand "BOSAOJI." From 2023, he intensified his activities under the name "Yuzo Komada," exhibiting at events and exhibitions both in Japan and overseas. In 2024, he moved his base of operations to Tochigi Prefecture, where he continues to create.
